Within its punk-rock leanings, “Broken Down Everything” takes the intangible feeling of being worn and tries to translate it as best as possible, and does an incredibly good job of it down to the last track. Not zeroing in on a single thought or emotion, the album instead takes from a spectrum of grays and utilizes each song to cover a particular problem or feeling, and comes off very self-aware in doing so.” - Jonny Golian

Broken Down Everything

As our first release, this album means a lot to us as a band, and it’s pretty amazing for to look back on the long journey we have taken to push through depression and anxiety since writing it. While we had hoped to release it sooner, it’s pretty inspiring to be able to look back now and see all of the growth that has happened since the fractured emotions, self-doubt, and hard thoughts that brought these songs into being.

Self-recorded from our living room in the old broken down house in Charlotte where we got our start, then dug up, mixed and mastered by our talented friend Travis Brown of fellow local rock band Anchor Detail, it is the definition of DIY music.

There is, as ever, more growth to do, but we are proud of that which has already taken place, and are excited to already be working on our next recording- one that will still work through personal pains, but that is also able to look more outward.

For this second album, we have the whole band of Anchor Detail hopping aboard to give us a hand, to loan us better recording gear, and to cheer us on. We are humbled and eternally grateful for their love and support, not to mention their time and effort going into helping THIS NEXT RECORD RIP 🔥

Thank you to everyone listening to our debut recordings. While we wish you all couldn’t relate to the darker side of the lyrics, it’s certainly comforting to know that you can keep us company there.
