'"Songs from the Carpet" is our very first release from upcoming 13-track album Better Never. The first line captures how this song began- our lyricist laying on the floor, writing about all that was changing around us. This song captures the growing pains of 20-somethings, but also of a city whose explosive growth was demolishing the art scene around us, and of a world at large that continues to fall in on itself as we silo ourselves away from our differences.
